SplitFish controllers

I'm curious about these controllers. They were at the E3 booths; and I'm curious how good these are. I've read some are a bit mixed reviews and some had problems. But some say it really does feel like a mouse on the PS3 (Splitfish SFX Pro 2)

Click here to go to their website

But their newest ones are the Splitfish SFX Evolution (on the picture)
Might try these out sooner or later!

Internet History 2005-2010. My story

I was recently digging on my 2 emails. And I noticed how amazing the time before was. 2005-2010

Nintendo Forums
I remember when Nintendo forums was open; That was probably the first forums I ever joined and I was using AOL (LOL). It felt like yesterday that everyone was excited when Nintendogs was coming out. I decided to check out the site myself today (because I saw a bunch of Nintendo forum emails. Haha) But didn't know they closed down since 2008!. That sucks..
But our memories will live on, on how awesome that forum was when (some of us) were kids who loves posting about upcoming games and tricks.

My first forum created - Forums/ Invision/ Proboard freaks
http://ransu.proboards.com/index.cgi
LOL I can't believe I found this. created at 2005. Forums was dashiznit before. Everyone loved forums. It was all about FORUMS FORUMS FORUMS.
I created it for the heck of having people to play with on Nintendo Wifi, and dang; I made so many e-friends! LOL If your reading this Mecha, Ignatz, Dill93, Malpercio, Stubbyperson. This is Lance from KOL Bugbears was awesome!

And yes; we were a bunch of e-people going on sites and chatting whatever. We used to play Kingdomofloathing.com, Divine Boards, (The old SBO forums where this guy loved Marina), The Glass Owl, That old megaman fansite (haha), Maplercio introduced me to Kongregate.com the day the site was opened. And more.

I then made this site called "Tales of Aeonics" Kind of like an RP. I'm not sure where the site is now (forgot the link, my bookmarks was on my old dead CPU) But here was the banner I made for it.
This was around 2006

And then comes the magical GFX tend on the internetz~

The GFX Trend

ChaosGFX, TwistedDesigns, Deviantart, ObscuredGFX, PlanetRenderz

ChaosGFX was the top GFX site before; where everyone comes in; and teaches everyone how to make the coolest sigs in the internet. They even had sig of the weeks, member of the weeks, 15$ contests, Chatrooms, graphics store, and many more.

I got to say it straight out right now that these days were the best ever. The site was so amazing; but stupid hackers gave the admin such problems that eventually they closed at 2008. R.I.P ChaosGFX.

Same gone for TwistedDesigns, Drama caused it to close; I was a Moderator there too with an average of 10-30 users online ever 15 minutes. .

(Deviant art is still alive.. genaulance.deviantart.com)

ObscuredGFX I'm pretty sure is dead; met some insanely great people; same went for Planetrenderz..

Here was my example of sigs at around 2005-2006
Time machine ~
First sig - via GIMP
Learned to how to use interlacing from PNG.

Started to learn how to use PS imageready properly. So I made gifs

And here's when I joined the top GFX forums team.

This was my team on Twisted Designs.

I also made a banner for one of my forums
And here are my sigs that I was known for..

Some dude bought my sig for 5$.. can you believe that?

This was my sig for the longest.

This was for a contest

So as this, a winning sig

Never got it to the time where people were doing real people as renderz now. Because I got my first Xbox 360..
-------

My words -
By 2007 People started to stop making GFX, stopped their dedication to continue running their site. Sig making and avatar making kind of died off.
.

And the cause of this? Video game Console..
------
People made GFX before because people in general had PS2's. And when 360 became super popular, Nintendo DS wifi, Online MMORPG, and PS3 came, internet GFX really died off. It's less popular now as it was before.

So goodbye old GFX sites; the memories I had for them are unbeatable.

Video Game Console Forums/ Sites and Social Networking to the MAX

Now is the Video game trend. CAG, IGN, Kotaku, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. It seems that Video making replaced GFX :p.
But of course; times of trend changing are inevitable. Might as well go with the flow ~
